Window Blinds

Even though my project was only a tiny one, a single sail blind for a roof light, the In-Shade team were brilliant at helping me to look at options and develop the right design. The measuring instructions were really clear. The final sail was very easy to install ourselves, it fits perfectly, it looks great and works well to shade and stop glare.

From the first email through to the last telephone call to triple check measurements, the team have been fantastic. the sails are of great quality, very easy to install, and the process has been very smooth. Would highly recommend them.

Purchased sails to reduce the glare in our south-facing conservatory. We are very happy with the sails, they look great, wash beautifully, and even help with the heat, which we did not expect with our aged polycarbonate roof. They are definitely worth paying a little more for. The whole team are just brilliant, very helpful, instructions are clear but they are happy to help if needed. Highly recommended.

First class help and advice by the InShade team throughout the process. The sails are now installed and look fantastic, perform as described in reducing glare and heat. Lots of compliments from club members and no complaints which is a rarity for any change we make at the club! The cost was a big concern for us and it's hard to tell from the samples how good the final outcome will be. We needn't have worried, the sails are great.

We have just fitted our new shade sails, and they look great with still.lots of light coming in which is what we wanted. The whole process has been fantastic, the instructions for measuring were easy to follow and all the team members that we spoke to by phone and email were professional and very helpful. Our sails only took a couple of weeks to make and we fitted them ourselves, again a very easy process. We would highly recommend Inshade and are looking forward to spending a more comfortable time in our conservatory this summer. An added bonus ...we had heavy rain today and the sails definitely reduced the noise on the roof.

We were guided through the design and choices options in a friendly and informative online video session. Easy instructions for measuring up then, decisions made, a short wait for the shade blind. The shade was nicely finished and just as portrayed in the design process. Easy fitting instructions, good quality fittings and a good outcome. The shade worked well on summer days when the sun room would have otherwise been too hot for comfort and looks good too. Our sun room plants appreciate the shade too and no longer frazzle brown on hot days.

If you're looking to enhance the look of your conservatory, you cant go wrong with these beautiful sails. We originally had 3 fitted at the front of the conservatory, but decided to finish it off with an additional 2 large sails at the back. We can't praise Matt and his team enough. The whole design process was easy, even technophobes like us could do it and the finished result is fantastic. They cut out the glare from the sun, help maintain a manageable heat and look stunning; very ambient at night time. We would not hesitate in recommending the product and this company. It's been a pleasure from start to finish.

The team were excellent at all stages, a well thought out design and lots of support throughout the process. The price was certainly far less than the roller blind options I had been looking at and a much more striking effect I would say. Production and delivery was prompt and I'm very happy with the outcome. The measuring is important to get right, it took me some time and a few attempts, so it's worth taking care at this stage.

I absolutely love the sail blinds in my conservatory. Every person I spoke to at InShade were helpful. I ordered these at the start of the lockdown so we could use our conservatory for schooling and work and they are so classy. InShade were fantastic and were at the beginning of working in the lockdown and I was impressed they could still manufacture these. The blinds were just what I wanted, a real feature in the room that enhances it rather than just blocking the conservatory roof.

The team at shade plus deserve 5 stars without doubt, they were very helpful from start to finish with advice and information . The whole process was very well organised from original enquire ,through the measurements and the actual fitting of the sails,very impressive. If you can read a tape measure and drill the fixing holes plus screw the brackets on ,you can save a large amount off the price it would cost you from a normal blind outlet, at no cost to the quality, it’s a no brainer !. Great staff, great product. It was two weeks from initial contact to design, manufacture and supply sail blinds for my conservatory. I elected to fit them myself after discussing the product with Matt the designer. It couldn't have been easier assuming you can follow written instructions and have basic DIY skills. Thanks everyone at InShade especially as this all occurred during the Covid 19 lockdown; you make a fantastic team.

I purchased 3 sails to shade one half of my conservatory about 3 years ago, and was so impressed with the quality and look, I ordered 3 more just over a year later. The team made the whole process of designing and measuring so simple and pleasurable and were extremely helpful at every stage. The sails have transformed my conservatory, as they look very stylish and elegant. They have removed the suns glare completely. Also, unlike a solid roof, I can remove them in winter to let more light in. The conservatory still does get hot, so don’t expect a miracle on that front, but the intensity of the heat is reduced and I can sit in there even on a hot summers day. I’m sorry it has taken me so long to review.

Just had my new sails fitted and I must say I am so happy with them. The sails and fittings have a quality look that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The whole process from finding InShade on line, through the initial phone consultation with Matt, the on line design process with Jill to the measuring and fitting by Paul was an absolute pleasure. From start to finish an incredibly easy approach even though completely remote. I have never had such clear instructions from start to finish. We hung them ourselves which we didn't think we would do.

We had been looking at various options to reduce heat and create shade in our London kitchen which has got a sizeable glass 'lean-to' extension. Changing the glass was going to be very expensive and installing blinds would have given the modern kitchen more of a corporate look that we did not want. We came across Shadeplus on-line. We loved the idea of sails to create a more interesting shading design. From my initial call, through the custom design process to the self installation, the whole process was about as good as you could imagine. The staff are excellent, clear communicators and the process very straight forward. We have now been through a hot summer making far better use of the kitchen. The sails look great and the whole family loves them. We would highly recommend the company.

Extremely pleased with our shade sail blinds. Definitely makes a difference in hot sunny weather. We’re situated by the South coast and we’re able to use the conservatory again in the summer. I am happy to recommend highly both the service and product.The personal service was excellent with great advice and input on a stunning design, tailored to what we wanted to achieve, followed by attention to detail in measuring and fitting. Everything was explained clearly throughout including costs.Our conservatory has been greatly enhanced in looks and function. The blinds achieve the shading we desired whilst still retaining an open and airy feel.The ease of cleaning is a tremendous advantage to previous close fitting wired blinds as well as no more trapped bumble bees!

i feel i must write a 5 star review for this company as it is very rare these days to find a company that gives a high quality product and and high quality costumer service. jill ella and matt could not be more helpful. it was very easy to do the online survey with matt and he made it very simple to understand. the blinds turned up slightly before time and they do look very stylish and do lower the temperature in the conservatory i fitted the blinds myself (ex carpenter) but anyone with a little diy knowledge should be able to do it. well done to all the team at shadeplus anthony smith (surrey)

I am so pleased with our new sail blinds. We chose x3 one with a contrasting blue which looks very stylish. My husband was able to put up the blinds himself without too much difficulty. He does have a little d.i.y. experience and so was quite confident having full instructions with the knowledge that help was only a phone call away. Shadeplus have been a joy to deal with. We visited their head office to see the product first hand and received great help from sales and design people. The instructions for measurement were very clear and samples provided lead us to placing an order for four blinds. Design and production took place on time and the blinds arrived a day early. With clear instructions installation was simple. We are absolutely delighted with the blinds which allows use of the conservatory without glare and heat. Great team, great product.

Dealing with shadeplus where flawless from start to finish, the sail shades where very easy to self fit. The conservatory doesn’t get quite so hot now and stops a lot of glare, we are planning to add more shades later in the year. The company was so easy to deal with, and Ella and Matt where very helpfull and professional.

I have just completed my installation of my blinds. I was concerned as to whether I was going to be able to manage this but it has worked out very well. They look beautiful and we are very pleased with the out come. InShade staff have been very helpful and customer focused and although it has taken some time the whole experience has been very satisfactory

I decided to fit InShade sails in the spring of 2018. The design process was iterative and very professional. And great fun too! The measuring and fitting processes were undertaken by Marla Custom Blinds and was excellent. The InShade sails have transformed my conservatory - it's now the Garden room and is used every day throughout the year. I am genuinely delighted with the result.

We bought our first two sun sails from shade plus 10 years ago and they are still in a great shape. However with the weather getting hotter, we wanted to cover another area in our conservatory. Shadeplus made very good design solutions to amend our current sails and add an extra one. The new sail came promptly, is very well made and looks fab.

My new sail shades are excellent quality and look fantastic, they have revitalised an older conservatory and make it a much more comfortable space. Shadeplus were very helpful throughout the whole process and advised on how to measure up and check dimensions. The shades were manufactured within the time given and packaged well for delivery. The instructions provided made final installation straight forward. I haven’t yet needed to take the shades down to wash as they have only been hung for about 9 months. I am pleased I opted for sail shades over traditional conservatory roof blinds, they make my conservatory feel a bit more contemporary.

We love our shades. They look great. The service we received was second to none. The whole team were wonderful. Joe was especially patient. We were demanding and slow to make a decision. The worst bit was doing the measurements. A taller step ladder would have helped. Fitting was so easy and quick. We had the taller step ladder for that job! Highly recommend them for service and quality. The fittings are top quality too. Happy customers.

Just a short note to say how delighted we are with our conservatory roof sails. I have only just gotten around to fitting them and they look just as we expected. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your company, from the initial call, the live design consultation, measuring advice and final product are all of the highest standard. We have taken them down for the winter months but will refit them Springtime next year. When they are up again we would be only to happy to show potential costumes.

Excellent Sales and Technical support.They spotted my error in measuring the conservatory. Product looks really stylish and has performed well in reducing sun glare and heat build up. Plan to take down sails and inspect with a view to cleaning or washing as recommended after each summer season.

The sails have totally transformed our tired conservatory. The old pull across blinds made the area dark and soulless. Our sails have opened up the roof space and the two tone effect is striking. The team were brilliant from start to finish and had so much patience- true all the measuring was stressful but my goodness the sails which we fitted ourselves fit beautifully. We decided to use Shadeplus Sail blinds in our conservatory having looked at several other options. We are delighted that we did. The design service was excellent and staightforward to use. The instructions on how and where to measure very simple. There was no pressure on us to hurry the process and we had plenty of time and information before we made our decision. The sails are easy to self fit and we are so pleased we decided to go with this "alternative" to traditional expensive blinds.

Bought house with conservatory and horrible, dirty Venetian blinds - put in skip as quickly as I could. Decided didn't want that sort of blind and had a vision of soft Aladdin tent type blinds. Did lots of research on-line and found Shadeplus. From my first enquiry to our final fitting (done by ourselves - as long as measurements are done correctly - no issues fitting) I have been really pleased. Company (particularly Joe) helped me throughout the whole process - and this was done completely over the phone and on-line. Blinds are now up, giving us good shade and look great....we are really pleased and I am delighted I found this web-site during my research. Would recommend without hesitation.

The service from the team was excellent from start to finish. We installed the blinds in about an hour and WOW what a difference they make. Not only shade from the sun but look fantastic too. From 1st contact through to completion and post sales the customer service was superb. Shadeplus were in constant contact all the way through the process and guided us every step of the way. The sails are a great addition to our conservatory and have made it a room we can enjoy year round, not just spring and autumn. The room seemed cosy and warmer in the winter and on the odd bright & hot day we've had in the last month the room is cooler and the sunshine glare has been greatly reduced. Just need the height of summer to really test the sails but all good so far.

It took me a while to get around to fitting them but once I committed to it, it actually took no time at all. Having read through the instructions, they were clear and included appropriate images of the design. this was accompanied by everything being clearly labelled. The end result is amazing, they look really good.

Very helpful and any queries quickly answered. Joe and all the design staff were very thorough, efficient and very pleasant. What we thought might be a complicated experience was made so much easier by them. Installation was quite straightforward. The shades look good but as we ordered them to arrive at the end of summer they haven't been fully tested yet! However they look good and should do the job.

Design for our conservatory was very good, they listened to what we wanted and then we spoke to the designer on the phone whilst they showed us the computerised image online. It took me ages to do measurements and get back to them about things (my own fault!!....children, work, home, etc!) but they kept in touch in the meantime to just gently nudge me when they had been waiting too long! Once we had the sails my husband put them up very easily by himself and they are just what we wanted!

We had a fantastic experience with the team at Shadeplus and can't recommend them highly enough. Our conservatory had some unusual shapes and existing structures which made the design very tricky to create yet the team were determined to find a functional and beautiful solution. We tried two sails and then realised that we needed another, they were very easy to measure and equal as easy to fit.The communication was good. Everyone comments on how lovely the sails are.They are very architectural and pleasing to look at.

We bought one blind about 4 years ago which proved a great success. On rebuilding the conservatory, it became clear that we needed a second blind. The result of the two blinds together is stunning, like two wings sailing over the roof. An elegant solution.

Very good planning and advice process. Blinds fitted well , with no difficulty and look super. Performance, blinds do help with sun though not as much as I had hoped but they are preferable for me to having a solid roof which is the only way to reduce over heating completely. I like the fact the blinds can come down in the winter when I do want max sun and are washable .
